Softscaping, Meet Hardscaping
Nature does just fine on its own, but once-in-a-while it’s nice to meet nature halfway and interact with a few “hardscaping” touches that make our outdoor spaces more habitable … from the eco-friendly functionality of a rain garden, the elegance of a “living” privacy screen and/or arbor, the down-home feel of a custom-built chicken coop to more design-oriented applications like natural or pre-cast rock patios, walls and paths, distinctive water features, and one-of-a-kind decks and fences. A Collaborative Approach
With our design clients, as with customers who visit our retail space looking for insight on plants or chicken keeping and the like, our focus is on collaboration. We understand that every landscape is unique and what works for some, most definitely doesn’t work for others. So, rather than taking a “cookie-cutter” approach, we ask a lot of questions up-front to help determine what will work best for our clients. Then, as the process moves forward — from the planning phases through the final installation — we remain in constant contact, working closely with our design clients, to ensure we realize their unique vision.
